Wyatt Lynch, MA, LMHCA
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Family Institute at Northwestern University. Previously, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Community Psychology from the University of Washington. During my internship at Northwestern, I gained valuable experience working with the Latino community at Consejo Counseling & Referral Service in Bellevue, Washington, providing services to individuals of all ages.
I am passionate about helping teen and young adult males navigate challenges such as anger management, grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also work a lot with parent-teen conflict, prioritizing developing strong communication skills as the foundation for all interactions between parents and their children.
My approach to therapy typically integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Psychodynamic Therapy. An eclectic approach allows me to meet the client where they are.
None of us are perfect. When in session with me, I want every person to feel supported, especially when things feel overwhelming. I'm here with you every step of the way.
In my free time, I enjoy exercising, watching sports, coaching sports, traveling, and spending quality time with friends, family, my dog, and cats (which you will see in session!)
